Marianne has been a member of the Greater Hartford Jaycees since June 2003. She has been an active member of the chapter since then, chairing the Jaycee House Holiday party in 2004 and the Metro Hartford Chamber of Commerce networking social in 2005. She has served on the Foundation Board of Directors since January of 2005. She is an underwriter at United Healthcare in Hartford, where she has worked for 6 ½ years. She holds a Bachelors in English from Connecticut College and a certificate from the Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy at Connecticut College.
Marianne met her husband, Edward, while attending Jaycee World Congress in Vienna, Austria. In addition to her love of volunteering, Marianne has an affinity for music and she sings in the choir at Asylum Hill Congregational Church in Hartford.
