Betty has been a member of the Greater Hartford Jaycees since 2003. Since that time, she has been very involved with the Golf Tournament, serving on the Sponsors Committee for 3 years. She has also served as a member of the Grants Committee for 2 years for the Foundation and has participated in various other projects for the Chapter. Betty also volunteers with other non-profit organizations such as the American Cancer Society and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). She is an active member of the West Hartford and Middlesex Chambers of Commerce and works on the Golf Tournament committees for each chamber. Betty is also a member of the Metro Hartford Alliance and HYPE (Hartford Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs).
A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Betty is the Marketing Director for Filomeno & Company, CPA’s and Business Advisors in West Hartford.
As an avid sports fan, she spends most of her free time enjoying UConn football games, Yankee baseball and Hockey. |
